XSEED still doesn’t have a Ys: Memories of Celceta release window for us yet, but they have some other lovely news. It turns out there will be both standard and limited editions of the Vita game when it’s released. Trust me though, once you hear about what’s in the limited edition, you aren’t even going to want to look at the standard edition.

To start, the limited edition of Ys: Memories of Celceta includes the game. That’s a very important starting place. Since the theme of the game is exploration, it also comes with a cloth map of the region Adol will be exploring, a Memories of Celceta compass and Adol’s Travel Journal. The travel journal is a strategy guide and artbook, and I’m pretty sure something like that will come in handy.

The best part, however, is the CD collection. You don’t just get a single CD with the Ys: Memories of Celceta soundtrack on it. You get a 3 CD collection with some of the best music from the entire Ys series. Now that’s a way to celebrate the launch of a new game.

The pricing isn’t that bad either. The standard version of Ys: Memories of Celceta is the same price as any other Vita game, $39.99. The limited edition version is $20 at $59.99. Considering everything people are getting, it’s well worth the extra investment. XSEED is giving us pearls, here.
