Resident Evil HD Chronicles PlayStation Plus

September is going to be another great month for PlayStation Plus members. The Instant Game Collection will be expanded by five games including two remastered HD games from the PS2 era. We’ll be getting Resident Evil HD Chronicles and the HD version of ICO. Sadly, Shadow of the Colossus won’t be included.

Resident Evil HD Chronicles includes Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. Both of these games can be played with PlayStation Move , but it’s not required.

Also free on the PS3 side is  Galaga Legions DX. This is a modern take of the classic Galaga game from the 80s. Granted this isn’t the most thrilling free game, but it can serve as a palate cleanser.

The Vita is also getting some love. We’ll be presented with GTA: Liberty City Stories and Rayman Origins next month.

As usual, Sony isn’t giving us exact dates one when each of these games will be free in the PlayStation Store. We can be sure we’ll find out at least a day before each store update in September.
