xbox one doritos mountain dew every 2 minutes contest
You want a Xbox One, but you don’t want to pay for a Xbox One. Maybe you can’t afford it. Perhaps you never buy consoles at launch. It could just be that you aren’t really sure the Xbox One is the “one.” The good news is, you don’t have to buy one. You can try and luck your way into getting a new console with Mountain Dew and Doritos.

There’s going to be a Xbox One contest, an auction of sorts, that could result in the acquisition of the console. Starting September 30, 2013, select Mountain Dew and Dorito products will have special codes on them. You take these codes and head to the Every 2 Minutes website. Create a free account and “bank” your codes by entering them there to earn points and Xbox One contest entries. Each item has a certain point value. So a 24 pack of Mountain Dew cans will get you 300 points, or a 10-11oz. bag of Doritos will get you 200 points. Not to mention, redeeming both a Dorito and Mountain Dew code at the same time will give 50 bonus points. You can have up to 1,000 codes and 150,000 points redeemed per an account.

From there, there are two ways to get a Xbox One. The first is to win one. Each code redeemed also gives a user one entry into a daily drawing to win a Xbox One. One winner will be drawn each day, from November 5-December 9, 2013. The other is to bid on one. There will be auctions every day starting November 5, 2013, with auctions apparently closing every 2 minutes. The points earned from banking codes above can be spent to bid on Xbox One lots. Black Friday 2013 is the big day for this Every 2 Minutes Xbox One auction event. There will be 720 auctions for Xbox One consoles between 2:01am EST on November 29, 2013 and 2am EST November 30, 2013.

Basically, there’s a lot of information to digest with this Xbox One promotion from Mountain Dew and Doritos. I recommend visiting the website, reading the FAQs and seeing everything for yourself before deciding to get in on the event. If you drink a lot of Mountain Dew and eat a lot of Doritos, it could pay off.
