I think you need some major, indie games. Something to perk you up, brighten your month. You need the Humble Indie Bundle 9. I can’t guarantee it will have the same effects as the fabled Love Potion 9, but you never know. It is a pretty nice package, with four games if you pay under the average, and six if you beat it, so it could very well warm your heart.
The Humble Indie Bundle 9 may have a smaller than usual main bundle, but it’s still a lovely package. You can pay whatever you want to get Windows, Mac, and Linux copies of Brutal Legend, Eets Munchies (beta), Mark of the Ninja, and Trine 2: Complete Story. If you pay over $1, you get Steam keys, even. Should you go ahead and decide to beat the current average price, which was $4.41 at 4:30pm CST, FEZ and FTL: Faster than Light are added to your order. Not to mention, the additional games that will be added next week Wednesday will also be added to your bundle if you beat the average. Soundtracks are even included for Brutal Legend, FTL, FEZ, and Trine 2.
Let me just warn you, though. I’ve come up with a bit of a wrinkle when it comes to redeeming these Humble Indie Bundle 9 Steam keys. When I input them into Steam, it will say they’re redeemed, as usual, but then show a blank space when it comes to the final step, and doesn’t offer to immediately install them. They didn’t even initially show in my game list, in the client. However, after logging out and logging back in again, my new games did appear. So don’t panic if things don’t seem to be redeeming as usual. Just log out, log in again, and everything should be fine.
