There’s news from Square Enix out of TGS 2013, and it’s good. Mostly good, at least. We’ve all been waiting for Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster news, because those were great games and it’s going to be awesome to play them on our PS3s and Vitas again. Especially since they’re the Final Fix versions that were never released in North America.

The problem has been, we have no idea when these Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster have been coming out. Its been one big mystery, with no definite release dates. Now, we have a little bit better idea. Before, the tentative date was set for sometime in Fall 2013. Now, it’s Winter. No year after it either. Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster is a Winter release, and we could end up seeing it at the very end of this year, or the very beginning of next year.

Still, it’s a relief to have some kind of idea what’s happening and when. Plus, we get a nice, new, Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster trailer out of the deal as well. Let’s go ahead and watch that right now.

While we’re here, we may as well watch the two other Final Fantasy trailers to come out of TGS 2013. Here’s the new Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII trailer.

So many costumes. That’s coming out in Japan on November 21, 2013, but we aren’t seeing it until 2014.

And here is a Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call trailer. No US release confirmation on this yet, but I’m guessing we’ll see it in 2014, just like Japan.
