Infinity Ward has opened the gates for early registration of clans in Call of Duty: Ghosts today. Since cross-platform clans are now a part of Call of Duty, one clan is all you need. No matter what platform your clan members play on, all the stats will carry over into your clan. Earning clan XP will be that much easier now for all. Simply put, it’s a good thing. Which means you will want to grab your crew and get it together immediately.
Here is the video that Infinity Ward has released that explains some of the new changes made to Call of Duty: Ghosts‘ clans.
Finally! Clans are now on the PC with Call of Duty: Ghosts. No person/platform left behind this time around, except for Wii U. Sorry, Nintendo. Even if you don’t plan on playing within a clan, getting those exclusive unlocks may be well worth it. Who knows, maybe the all new Clan Wars will get you interested enough to suit up with fellow clan members. With the new Call of Duty app, finding people to play will be easier. You can either chat with them if they’re online or send them ‘rally up’ messages to let them know it’s go time.
If you’re not the leader of your clan, make sure to tell whoever is the leader to register your clan name right away. Everything is a first-come, first-served basis. Hopefully your clan has a unique name if you’re too slow. Once the clan leader sets everything up, they can start registering all the members themselves to save time. You’ll want to get this done soon since early registration for Call of Duty: Ghosts ends on October 25, 2013.
