Not planning on going out on Halloween this year? I can’t blame you, what with it being in the middle of the week and rather chilly. It’s far smarter to curl up, indoors, with some horror games you got at an amazing discount from GOG.com. Yes, GOG has another sale in the works, and it’s a good one. It’s been dubbed the No Trick, All Treat sale in honor of the holiday, and gives shoppers a chance to get 18 horror games for up to 75% off. Works for me. I’d prefer a mobile sale, so I could have something to play while doling out treats to kids, but this is good too.

GOG’s No Trick, All Treat sale features a mix of old and new games, from major developers and indies. All are reduced, and you don’t have to buy all 18 to get the best savings. Just pick out the ones you want before the sale ends on November 1, 2013, and you’re set.

Which brings us to the games themselves. These are the titles GOG thinks you might enjoying playing for a lot less than usual.

  • Alan Wake (Windows) – $7.49
  • Alan Wake’s American Nightmare (Windows) – $2.49
  • Alone in the Dark 1, 2, and 3 (Windows, Mac) – $2.09
  • Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare (Windows) – $2.09
  • Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs (Windows, Mac) – $13.99
  • Amnesia: The Dark Descent (Windows, Mac) – $7.99
  • The Cat Lady (Windows) – $2.49
  • Clive Barker’s Undying (Windows) – $1.79
  • Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within (Windows) – $2.39
  • Gabriel Knight 3: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned (Windows) – $2.39
  • I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (Windows) – $2.99
  • Pathologic (Windows, Mac) – $2.49
  • The Penumbra Collection (Windows, Mac) – $2.49
  • Phantasmagoria (Windows) – $3.99
  • Phantasmagoria 2 (Windows) – $2.39
  • Sanitarium (Windows) – $3.99
  • Waxworks (Windows, Mac) – $1.79

I’d recommend Alan Wake and either of the Amnesia games. Personally, I’m curious about Waxworks, because that $1.79 price tag is super tempting.
