Forza 5 has been the subject of controversy since it was released. Many players feel the game is unfairly skewed towards microtransactions. The reduced number of cars and tracks from the previous game aren’t helping things either. Turn 10 is listening to all the feedback, and have come up with some ways to appease the masses. One thing it’s doing is giving away at a ton of in-game credits to anyone who has played a Forza game and is signed up for the Forza Rewards program. Forza Rewards is easy to sign up for. All you have to do is link your Microsoft account and you’re in.
I hadn’t played a Forza game before Forza 5, but I still managed to claim 1 million credits today. If you have a higher tier ranking, the number of credits you can redeem is dramatically increased. All these credits will go a long way in unlocking many of the cars without needing to grind. You probably won’t see the credits in your game immediately, so give it a little time to process.
Also, today is the last day to purchase any car in Forza 5 for 50% off. This essentially doubles the amount of cars you can buy with all those free credits.
