Okay everyone, here’s your public service announcement of the week. QuakeCon 2014 may not be until July 17, 2014, but the registration is going to open next week. Paid registration that is. You can get into QuakeCon itself for free, but if you want to be sure you’re getting a seat, as well as extra goodies, you have to be online at 7pm CST on March 5, 2014 to register at the QuakeCon website.
Though, it may not be all bad if you wait and don’t jump on the first QuakeCon 2014 BYOC Select-a-Seat registration package. The one available next week will be $175 and will give you guaranteed seats, express lane fast-pass registration and event access, a BYOC QuakeCon 2014 t-shirt, a lanuard, and a signed and numbered print. Only 250 people can get this package. However, the next registration package is actually better.
On March 19, 2014, you can buy the BYOC Select-a-Seat and Swag Pack package for $150. 500 will be available and it gets you a BYOC area seat, QuakeCon 2014 and QuakeCon 2014 BYOC shirts, a languard, a The Evil Within poster and backpack, a Logitech G430 QuakeCon 2014 headset, a The Elder Scrolls Online mousepad, 1-year of QUAKE LIVE Pro, and two limited edition t-shirts. Granted, you can’t getting the fast-pass, guaranteed access to all events, but you’re getting so many nifty freebies!
After those two registration windows, there are two more basic options. One is a basic, $50 BYOC Select-a-Seat option that gives you a shirt, lanyard, and BYOC QuakeCon 2014 shirt. 1,250 will be available on April 2, 2014. It’s followed by the final April 16, 2014 registration period, where 500 people could get a $120 Swag Pack that includes the QuakeCon 2014 shirt, a The Evil Within poster and backpack, a Logitech G430 QuakeCon 2014 headset, a The Elder Scrolls Online mousepad, 1-year of QUAKE LIVE Pro, and two limited edition t-shirts.
Okay, potential QuakeCon 2014 attendees. You know it all know. It’s up to you to set reminders so you don’t miss out on the registration package you need to attend QuakeCon in Dallas between July 17-20, 2014.
