Table Top Racing tore things up on iOS and Android over the past year, and now it’s ready to take on the PlayStation Vita. A few days ago, Playrise Digital announced a spring release window for Table Top Racing. Things will be slightly different in the Vita version. The power of the platform will enable the game to have better visuals and controls optimized for physical buttons. The rear touch panel of the Vita will also be put to use in some way. Hopefully the rear controls won’t be too sensitive since it’s really easy to touch it inadvertently.
Pricing information is not available at this time, but that also means there’s a chance Table Top Racing will actually have a price. The game is free-to-play on iOS and Android. There are in-game purchases for coins, but that’s about it. The Vita version will also get four-player online co-op, six modes, eight tracks and 17 cars.
Table Top Racing is unique thanks to the micro scale of the cars. The races take place in everyday environments such as a kitchen or a backyard. Everything in the world appears to be scaled up since the cars are so small. If you’re looking for a racing game for the Vita that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this could be your thing.
