xbox_live_weekly_update_image1311The Arkham Origins experience continues in Arkham Origins: Blackgate Deluxe Edition on the Xbox 360. This 2.5 D adventure has already appeared on portable systems and now  made its way to Xbox Live. There’s been an explosion at Blackgate Prison, and now the inmates are in charge. There’s only one man who can stop this, and he’s the guy that put most of those crooks in Blackgate. It’s time for the Batman to take charge. Blackgate includes the stealth and freeflow combat made famous in Arkham Origins, and this deluxe edition features new maps, enemies and equipment. Where does he get those wonderful toys? It’s $19.99 to find out.

The Xbox 360 also gets a demo for 2014 FIFA World Cup. Play as 203 different national teams in real Brazilian stadiums with newly rendered crowds. Where’s my vuvuzela?

Wrestlemania 30 is this week, so the Xbox 360 is celebrating with deals on WWE 2K14 and related items. The game itself is 25 percent off, and some of the DLC is up to 50 percent off. That includes the Ultimate Warrior, originally a WWE 2K14 preorder bonus. I can’t recommend this highly enough to any wrestling fan. The roster makes this worth the price of admission. Everybody from King Kong Bundy to Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat makes an appearance. Players will also get the opportunity to either defend or end the Undertaker’s undefeated streak at Wrestlemania.

Xbox One bestseller Titanfall has received a new matchmaking update. Before matching teams up, the system will take into account the players’ skill levels. Tired of being a brand new player matched against people who have regenerated six times? Now that’s being taken into consideration. The game will also periodically split teams apart and search for new players, to keep matchups fresh and exciting.

Anti-cheating measures are in place now too. Titanfall is using GameBlocks and Fair Fight to detect PC cheaters. Those caught cheating will get to keep playing Titanfall with other cheaters. If a player marked as a cheater enters a party with friends, all will be treated as cheaters until that player leaves.
