Anime Expo is always an exciting time for gamers. Why? Because companies like NIS America, XSEED, Atlus, and sometimes even Namco Bandai announce new games. Which is exactly what NIS America has already done. It has a lot in store for us over the next year. We’re going to get to read a diary, then accept an invitation, and even deal with an ultimatum.

The first NIS America game announced at Anime Expo is htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary. It’s a Vita title and will be coming to the PlayStation Store in Fall 2014. Players follow a young girl named Mion, who must use the light and dark abilities of her two fireflies to solve puzzles, learn more about her situation, and hopefully escape.

The next Anime Expo announcement is for Criminal Girls: Invitation, and this is a huge surprise. You know, considering all of the… questionable… content in the original, Japanese release. Which is why the US version is going to be censored. Players control a character affiliated with the Redemption Program, and must guide a group of girls guilty of the seven deadly sins through four trials (and dungeons) in the hopes they’ll atone and repent. We’ll see it in 2015.

The final game is The Awakened Fate Ultimatum, the sequel to The Guided Fate Paradox. The angels and devils are still at war, but the angels have created a Fate Awakening Crystal that can again turn a human into God. Coincidentally, the perfect person to use the crystal appears, and it seems like the tide could turn in Celestia’s favor. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait until 2015 for this game as well.

This is just the start of the Anime Expo 2014 game announcements. Keep reading, because more are bound to arrive.
