I have to warn all of you, things are about to get misty. GamerTell’s E3 2014 coverage is drawing to a close. Which means it’s time for us to go through GamerTell’s Best of E3 2014 picks.

Let me tell you, deciding on the Best of E3 2014 wasn’t easy. There were more than a few tie-breakers, and there where many cases where almost every staff member had a different nomination for each of our 10 categories. We powered through and whittled it down.

So, I present to you all, GamerTell’s Best of E3 2014 winners. (Be sure to let us know if you agree or disagree in the comments!)

Best PS3 Game: Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed

Akiba’s Strip‘s premise is a hoot. Who wouldn’t want to go fighting vampire-esque creatures in Akihabara. It was a blast at E3, so we made it our Best of E3 2014 PS3 game.

Best PS4 Game: No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky looks amazing, and it’s scope promises to be mind boggling. It’s sure to delight PS4 owners, and make everyone who can’t play it envious.

We’re giving Sega one last chance to make things right when it comes to Aliens games. We’re willing to forgive and forget when it comes to Aliens: Colonial Marines , so long as Alien: Isolation is good.

Everyone here is super excited about Sunset Overdrive. Now, all I know about the game is Fizzie didn’t work so well as swag, but I have to admit the screenshots look amazing.

No one can resist the allure of Yoshi. This is especially true when he’s in amigurumi form.

Fantasy Life wasn’t actually playable at E3, but the announcement of this Level-5 RPG where people level up by living a… well.. fantasy life sounds enchanting.

I would have been so disappointed if Danganronpa 2 wasn’t named the Best of E3 2014 when it comes to Vita games. Thankfully, everyone else here loved it as much as I did.

No Man’s Sky was the only game to place twice on our list. And for good reason! It’s going to rock our worlds when it’s released.

All these delays are killing us. The Order: 1886 looks so intriguing and needs to be released already.

We don’t know much about Rise of the Tomb Raider yet, but if it’s anything like the reboot, we’re in for a good time.

    I was super pleased with No Man’s Sky at this year’s E3. I was also thrilled by Bloodborne, but that might be my inner Souls fan shining through.
