I highly dislike the taste of tomatoes. I don’t mind tomato sauce, but actual, physical tomatoes can go far away from me. I also love modding Skyrim. One of the mods I really enjoy using adds realistic needs to the game. You have to eat, drink, sleep, and bathe, otherwise you’ll start having negative consequences. If you don’t eat after long enough, you can actually die of starvation. Of course, the game warns you about it, but it’s a quick set of words in the upper right hand corner of the screen. If you’re not paying attention, you can easily miss out on exactly how hungry your character is.
That was how I ended up dying of starvation in Skyrim.
See, I’d been playing a game where I started left out in the middle of the wilderness. I had no money and no equipment other than an iron dagger. I knew I needed food, but I didn’t realize I was quite so hungry. So when I finally found food, I didn’t take it. Why didn’t I take the food?
Because the food was tomatoes, and I hate tomatoes. It didn’t matter that I wouldn’t actually be eating the tomatoes, all that mattered was that I hated them, so I didn’t take them. And then I didn’t find any food before I finally died.
I think I’ve said, I play Skyrim in weird ways.
