The fever pitch over Bioshock’s August 27, 2007, release hasn’t stopped at favorable reviews. The coveted Limited Edition box (which includes the game, a behind the scenes DVD, and a Big Daddy action figure) will now include a soundtrack EP, with remixed versions of period crooner’s tunes.
Moby and Oscar the Punk will present their versions of “Beyond The Sea,” “God Bless The Child” and “Wild Little Sisters,” all of which appear (un-remixed) throughout the game. This is coming right after the playable demo on Xbox Live, just in time to whet gamers’ appetites a bit before the official release later in the month.
Bioshock has PC and Xbox 360 gamers shivering with anticipation over its deep, FPS-meets-adventure gameplay and supremely atmospheric world – depicting an underwater utopia gone horribly wrong. The LE pack is still available from Game Crazy for around $60 for the PC LE and $70 for the Xbox 360 LE.
