To go along with newly reimagined Nokia N-gage platform/service, Vivendi Games Mobile is releasing another game in the Crash Bandicoot franchise.
VU previously released a port of Crash Nitro Kart as an N-Gage cart in 2003. The details for the new Bandicoot game were pretty sparse, only indicating that it will follow “the original storyline where the crazy marsupial must save the world” and be filled with the usual antics and humor found in earlier games. No word on release date, exact game title or pricing.
In the same Nokia press release, it was also announced that Capcom has agreed to release N-Gage games as well (in 2008). No word yet on the franchises that will make the mobile crossover but I’m guessing maybe a Mega Man title or seven.
Again, the new N-Gage is not a piece of hardware but a new game service that will launch November 2007 and will be compatible with Nokia Nseries and S60 3rd Edition devices. Starting in November 2007, N-Gage will be compatible with Nokia N73, N81, Nokia N81 8GB, Nokia N93, Nokia N93i, Nokia N95 and Nokia N95. 8GB
