Haze to be a PS3 exclusive

The upcoming anticipated first-person shooter, Haze, is currently in development for the PlayStation 3 console with no signs of the game coming to the PC or Xbox 360 platform as announced earlier this Spring. The current release date is scheduled for November 19, 2007.

In May 2007, Ubisoft originally announced that, since the PS3 has become the “lead platform,” the game will be released for the Sony system first. This would suggest that the PlayStation network is becoming more robust than the Xbox Live making the PS3 more flexible for the game. Although Ubisoft has yet to confirm if there will be any release dates for the PC and Xbox 360 it did mention in an interview with GameSpot that it may still be possible for the game to be released for other consoles in 2008.
