The game is essentially Phoenix Wright on steroids, with all the zany humor of the TV series. Capcom is calling it “a fully animated interactive adventure game that merges the fun and mayhem of the popular Adult Swim TV show with Capcom’s unique style of gameplay.”
This power combo sounds like it could actually work quite nicely, given PW’s good track record so far on the DS and the compatibility of Birdman humor with that style of gameplay. It certainly has more promise than the other Adult Swim offering coming soon: the upcoming Aqua Teen golf/battle title Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-Am.
It looks like games that go multiplatform these days are generally relegated to either the Wii/PS2/PSP or Xbox 360/PS3 route (surprise, surprise!). No one should expect any radical differences on the Wii version, besides a price hike: the PS2 and PSP versions will sell for $29.99, while the Wii commands a $39.99 price point.
