One of the trademarks Nintendo is registering is actually a renewal for Miyamoto’s game Pikmin, which was hinted at several years ago. Perhaps they’re almost ready for the third installment of those cute little flower people. One could only guess that it may be coming to the Wii console if Nintendo is renewing the trademark.
The trademark Nintendo Magic is rumored to be a newer version of Magic Taisen, a game that failed in Japan. But Wii handle has lots of people stumped as to what this trademark means for future gaming. As of today Nintendo has not released any official comment on the new trademarks. I guess all we can do is wait for Nintendo to reveal what is up their sleeves as we continue to monitor the Nintendo fan boards.
Trademarks don’t always mean something is up but it is strange when trademarks such as Wii Handle, Mii Audition, Soma Bringer, Nintendo Magic, Zelda Gaiden and Game Boy Chorus does make one stop and scratch their heads.
And what exactly is a “Zelda Gaiden?” A new ninja outfit for future Zelda games?
