Seth Green and Master P to create videogame about industryWhat do you get when you combine the creator of Robot Chicken, Seth Green, and rapper Percy Miller a.k.a, Master P? A future RPG game titled Play the Industry.

P Miller Enterprises, Green and Matthew Senreich’s Stoopid Monkey Productions and ShadowMachine Films have created a partnership to develop a game that enables gamers to enter a 3D world as either an athlete, power broker, hip-hop artist or other characters that must work their way up to stardom.

Though details of the game are still in the planning stage, Senreich suggested that the final product may likely be similar to the popular Sims game rather than a fighting or shooting game.

“You can play agent, you can play mogul, you play all sorts of different characters,” Senreich told Hollywood Reporter. “Although in its early stages, Stoopid Monkey and ShadowMachine are already are working on a script for the game, talking with developers about taking on the project and lining up financing. The partners hope to have a developer on board in the next several months and a release by late 2009. We really want to take the time and make sure we do this right … But the good thing we have going into this is we are developing the creative ahead of time, and we’re very close to having that up and running.”

With Master P at the forefront of so many new things, the game will include new ‘clean’ albums and soundtracks that will not contain any derogatory suggestions, comments or cursing of any kind.

But until they find a developer the game is just an idea. According to the three partners, their hopes are high and though they are just focusing on the game itself for now, they added that if the “Play the Industry” game becomes successful, they plan to develop a motion picture, reality show and clothing line based on the game.
