Four-day game sale at Toys R Us this week

For four days Toys R Us is having a huge sale on their entire stock of Wii video games. The sale, which started November 18, 2007, and ends on November 21, 2007, applies to all games that are in stock in store and online. The online store has 111 Nintendo Wii titles rated Everyone to Teen, and features nine Mature rated titles, among them Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles, The Godfather and Resident Evil 4.

There is also a sale on select Activision Xbox 360 and Playstation 2 games. If you buy one, you get a second Activision game for 50% off. The sale applies to 14 Xbox 360 and PS2 games, and the titles included in the sale are Spiderman 3, Shrek the Third, Transformers the Game, Bee Movie Game, Spiderman: Friend or Foe, Monster Jam, and Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground.

The Wii games are really a great deal. This could be the perfect time to stock up on holiday gifts. The Activision titles are sorely lacking though. Everyone knows that video games created to coincide with a movie release always suck. Overall, it is nice to see that Toy R Us isn’t saving all the good deals for Black Friday.
