Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates site opens

Square Enix has just opened a new site specifically for its forthcoming DS game Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates. The site was officially opened December 13, 2007 and is designed to act more as a blog than a traditional game site. Rather than presenting only initial screens or game information, the site will feature news updates and messages from the team working on the game.

At the moment there isn’t much there to see. Only two messages are up on the blog at the moment. One is a general introduction message, telling the purpose of the site. The other is a message from Akitoshi Kawazu, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles creator and FF CC:RoF executive producer, which basically is another introduction telling visitors to come back and visit the site at a later date for more information.

Personally, I’d prefer a more traditional site for the game. The one they have up doesn’t provide any helpful information about the game. FF CC: RoF will be in stores on March 11, 2008.
