In an interesting turn of events, Majesco Games has announced that it is working with Budcat Creations to bring Our House to the Wii in 2008. Our House seems tailor made for fans of shows like Flip This House and Property Ladder. The game gives players the opportunity to multi-task and build on their innate designing and construction abilities.

In Our House players build a house. They create the building plans, play mini-games to earn capital for materials, buy the materials and decor, and then build and set up their home. This game can not only be played alone, it also can be played with friends. There is a multiplayer option where four players can be building their home at once, trying to be the first to create the perfect home and sell it for the highest price. Majesco has also confirmed that their will be WiFi support where players can contribute to a virtual neighborhood and display their best homes with Wii Connect 24.

Our House may seem like a silly title, but I think it could be a little fun. After all, sometimes the best part of the Sims 2 titles is building and creating the perfect home. The multiplayer may fall short, but the single player could be entertaining. After all, there probably wouldn’t be enough space on the TV screen to show all four players working at once.
