GameLife is reporting that Nintendo of America has announced the hiring of two new top-tier executives. Taking over for Perrin Kaplan in the role of vice president of marketing and corporate affairs is Denise Kaigler, formerly Reebok’s head of global corporate communications. Quadrilingual Bill Van Zyll will helm Nintendo of America’s Latin America department. Both will report directly to new executive Vice President Cammie Dunaway.
The fresh blood is a sure sign of the changing times at the big N, and the GameLife post posits that the executive shakeup “seems to finally be settled”. Perrin Kaplan and former Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communication George Harrison left the company late last year.
Random fun fact: Denise Kaigler actually spoke at my undergraduate commencement ceremony. Good luck and congratulations to both!
