conflict denied ops A demo for Conflict: Denied Ops, the fifth game released in the series and first for next generation console, is available now for download through Xbox Live Marketplace. The free demo will feature both a single-player and two-player co-op modes.

Like other games in the Conflict franchise, players will have the ability to switch between either of the two CIA paramilitary operatives: Lincoln Graves and Reggie Lang. Locations will take gamers all around the globe including South America, Africa and Siberia. Like past titles, Conflict: Denied Ops promises to be filled with plenty of action.

Published by Eidos and developed by Pivotal Games, the game has a February 12, 2008, release date and will be available for the Xbox 360, PC and PS3. it will cost $49.99, making it a little less expensive than most modern console games. It will also be released on Xbox Live as a hefty 731Mb download.

It is hard to believe that the Conflict series is still around. In fact, it is more then likely that most gamers have all but forgotten about the franchise that is mostly remembered for its mindless AI, buggy game play and cheap price tag. Yet somehow, the series has endured and straight out left field with almost no marketing behind it.
