New information has recently come to light concerning the Playstation 3 Monster Madness release. The first tidbit is purely asthetic, as a title has finally been announced for the installment. The game will be known as Monster Madness: Grave Danger. Originally it was referred to by the name Monster Madness: EX. Other new information concerns the prospective release and content of the title. The game is being completely reworked and should be out by end of the second quarter of 2008.

Monster Madness: Grave Danger is going to be greatly improved over previous entries. After the release of Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia, the fans were surveyed to determine what should go into the PS3 release. The result is a new game which will address areas which concerned fans. There will be better camera angles, improved controls, new character costumes, mini-games, state-of-the-art graphics and four player online co-operative multiplayer. The biggest change is the online co-operative story mode, which was the most requested change from fans.

While the official press release is vague concerning a release date, Gametrailers.com has information stating that it should be out by April 8, 2008. That sounds about right, so if you’re a horror fan you might want to stop by your favorite game store that day.
