DMC 4
On February 9, 2008, the Devil May Cry 4 demo hit a million downloads on Xbox Live. According to Destructoid, Capcom is claiming that it’s the “fastest to that number in the history of Xbox Live”.

The 4th game in the combat-heavy third person action series, DMC 4 saw its demo version go live on January 24, 2008. One million DL’s in fewer than three weeks is quite the feat, though there really hasn’t been much competition on Xbla aside from Rez HD.

The game itself hit retail last week to a very warm reception: reviews have been positive, and Capcom is claiming that the game is a commercial hit as well. I can’t help but wonder if the PlayStation network numbers (for the demo) compare favorably. For that matter, it’d be quite interesting to see the sales breakdown for the retail versions (PS3 vs. Xbox 360).
