For those who want a glimpse of EA’s upcoming game Dead Space, a new six-issue comic book series written by Anthony Johnston and written/illustrated by Ben Templesmith will act as a prequel to the events that occur in the game scheduled to be released Fall 2008 for the Playstation 3, PC and Xbox 360.
Comic fans who attended WonderCon 2008 in San Francisco, held February 22 to 24, 2008, had a chance to check out and grab a copy of the comic. According to Game Daily, comic book fanatics can still get a copy for $2.99 without the special edition cover.
How good is the artwork in the comic? Check out this video clip of Dead Space Issue Zero. (*Warning: This video contains harsh language and mild violence.*)
The intense color and dark undertones make the comic an interesting book to have. If this is the prequel to the game then the game is going to be one heck of a roller coaster ride to horrorville. Gotta go get my copy before they run out and reserve a copy of the game. See you at the store.

This is awesome. Templesmith did Fell last year with Warren Ellis (Transmetropolitan), which was a blast.
Really? I'm still new to this type of game/comic. I couldn't find a copy here in my area, will try again this week. Tell me about Warren Ellis.
Doesn't seem that amazing. I'm going to buy the PS 3 when GTA comes out so I might give this a go as I liked past games by him.
Sorry it took so long to respond. Good luck with GTA and let me know what you thought of Dead Space when you get a chance to play it.
