If God of War: Chains of Olympus isn’t enough for you, then head over to your local GameStop today. Yesterday (March 5, 2008) all GameStop stores in North America began taking preorders for the PS3 title God of War III. If you check in with the site, it reports that God of War III will be out in March 2009 for $59.99. Sure you’ll have to wait a year to get the game, but at least you’ll have the warm reassurance of knowing you have first dibs.
Nothing solid is really known about the storyline or events of the game itself. A few tidbits of information have been released though. It will support SIXAXIS and DualShock 3 vibration and 1080p HD resolution. Also it is definitely in development.
It is quite a bit early to go preordering, but it’s nice to know that if you wanted to, you could. Also it should give fans a warm feeling to have an idea of when they’ll get to play the latest game.
