If you’ve been waiting for the Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood rpg from Bioware, you may want to stop by Sonic-City.com and participate in a recent poll. The European Sonic Sega site now has a poll available where anxious fans can vote on the name of the alien menace Sonic and friends will face in Sonic Chronicles. There are nine different names offered – the Bluchaos, the Crushers, the Darknood, the Dusk, the Gravitus, the Guardian, the Icebo, the Psykore and the Zoah.
In case you haven’t heard all the hype, Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood is the new rpg from Bioware and Sega starring Sonic the hedgehog and other characters from the series like Blaze the cat, Tails the fox and Amy the hedgehog. In it, Sonic has to defend everyone against an alien scurge.
Personally I’m a little disappointed in all of the names offered. They either seem really generic or incredibly uninspired. Especially the Guardian. If it is an alien menace, it should have a menacing name and not sound like something that would protect you. And the Crushers sounds like the inept followers of some cable TV wrestler.

All the hype just seems like too much. A Sonic RPG is a nice idea, but I'm very skeptical if it can be executed properly.
