Capcom has finally leaked some of the cast for the forthcoming live-action Street Fight movie. So, let’s take a look at some early matchups.
Vancouver native Kristin Kreuk will step into Chun Li’s white boots and glistening tights. She played Lana Lang on Smallville where she’s taken part in at least some combat. But can she handle the massive Michael Clarke Duncan (Green Mile) as Barlog? Better be some goo-o-o-d special effects to help me buy that one.
How about Neal McDonough as M. Bison? He sure looks brooding enough but you can’t beat the casting stroke of genius in Chris Klein as Charlie Nash. Look at that Look at that dofus. Are you sure they didn’t model the game character after him?
Also, some dude from the Black Eyed Peas is gonna play Vega, so the correlation of suck should be in perfect balance. It’s all part of 20 magical years of Street Fighter 2. That includes Street Fighter IV this summer, a redrawn version of Street Fighter 2 on Xbox Live later this year and then what will undoubtedly be this embarrassing misfire next year. Horray synergy!
