“Dead Fantasy II” by Monty Oum has just been released. In case you haven’t heard of this awesome series, it is an original creation where female characters from Dead or Alive face off against characters from Final Fantasy. The first video featured Yuna (FFX-2), Rikku (FFX-2) and Tifa (FFVII: AC) against Ayane, Hitomi and Kasumi from Dead or Alive. “Dead Fantasy II” first debuted at Anime Boston 2008, which ran from March 21-23, 2008.
The sequel picks up right where “Dead Fantasy” left off. Once again the girls are battling at the ruins above the lava pool. However new characters are added to the mix. Kairi, complete with keyblades and keyblade forms, from Kingdom Hearts II and a gunblade wielding Rinoa from FFVIII both show up to assist their FF friends and another, scythe wielding woman from the Dead or Alive universe steps up to aid the Dead or Alive girls. (I’ve never played Dead or Alive, so I can’t identify her.
Both “Dead Fantasy” episodes are below. If you haven’t seen them, click and take a look. Personally I think “Dead Fantasy II” looks better than “Dead Fantasy,” but both look great.

Yeah. This vid was so much a hit the crowd cheered during the whole video. Very awesome video. Gotta support my final fantasy girls.

Really? Wow!
I really thought it looked amazing. I had no idea who any of the DOA girls were though. >.<
I did think it was beyond awesome to see Kairi show up – and to see her get keyblade forms like Sora!
Yeah. Or to see Rhinoa with Squall's gunblade. I think that was Ultimecia's attack she was using with the melting moon thing. They played this video right before the Luv and Response concert. They were actually wanting to watch Dead Fantasy 3 before the concert. LOL.
I have so much to write out when I get back. I thought I would be able to write about everything that went on at the conference but alas. The computer I'm working from didn't have photoshop. I took photos of alot of events and cosplayers.
My train will be here in an hour so I'll write when I get home.
Later Gater.
The Dead or Alive girls were the bomb, especially Ayane when she did that technique on the tower. She did that technique with Hayate in Dead or Alive 4. Kasumi also the bomb because she kept teleporting which I've never seen before. I recognized some of the moves she did too. Kasumi and her half-sister Ayane which Ayane only knows about are getting some of the action. Hitomi on the other hand is usually being considered a normal karate girl, but she was amazingly strong. Although I did like some of the Final Fantasy girls moves, but I wish they would give some of the DOA girls some credit too instead of getting beat up badly because I'm afraid some of the DOA fans would be a tad bit dissapointed. They should add another DOA girl or somebody to thier group to make it even and fair. Although the episode was tight as what, and I should know because it is impossible to impress me and that was impressive.
