Peter Moore, president of EA Sports, has announced that Madden 09 will not be released on PCs, only on standard gaming platforms. So you will only be able to pick up the latest football game for your DS, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360. Moore stated that part of EA Sports’ reasoning behind the decision is based on the fact that games released by that division of EA are more often purchased for actual video game systems, rather than for PCs.
It doesn’t seem like it is that big of a deal. So Madden doesn’t appear on the PC for a year. If fans are mad, let EA Sports know and maybe then there will be a Madden 10 PC version. Look at it this way – at least you have Madden 08 for your PCs. Appreciate the game that you do have, instead of lamenting the one you don’t.
Besides, it’s just a football game. So you don’t have the latest players in there. I have seen far too many copies of Madden 08 for all systems used at video game stores sitting alone and unwanted. If you’re still peeved, then think about how EA Sports is helping the environment by not releasing that game for PCs.

I hate it how there won't be Madden 09 for the PC because that just happens to be the thing with the best graphics and all that cool stuff in my house. I don't have the money to afford a PS3 of Xbox 360 just to play a football game. I was so looking forward to Madden 09 because it's supposed to be incredible!!! I love football so it just disapoints me big time.
Thats a shame David that you won't get to enjoy the game because of EA's decision. Sorry to hear you won't get to play Madden 09.
Really sad that they wont support the active madden pc community. But to be honest after last years disappointing 08 release for the pc I guess it was to be expected. Oh well they wont be getting my money because I too own a high end pc but no console.
