Get immunized – win the Puchi Puchi Virus contest

If you’re upset about having to wait for NIS America’s delayed DS puzzle game Puchi Puchi Virus, there’s a slight silver lining. The company is going to make it up to you with a Puchi Puchi Virus contest.

The NIS America News page states that the company will be giving out four Puchi Puchi Virus Anti-Virus kits. Each kit comes with candy anti-virus pills (probably like the ones Joystiq received), Puchi Puchi Virus information, and a copy of Puchi Puchi Virus.

Its pretty easy to enter as well. There are actually two contests being held at once, with each giving away two Anti-Virus kits. The Puchirus Art contest requires entrants to create an infected individual, name him/her and send it in before May 20, 2008. The Puchirus Doctor contest calls upon entrants to create, name and describe a virus, and then send it in before, you guessed it, May 20, 2008.

As for Puchi Puchi Virus‘s release date, well, that’s still a mystery. The official NIS America site is saying it will be out in June 2008, Gamefaqs says Q2 2008 and Amazon says May 27, 2008. At least when it is available, it will be for the budget price of $19.99.
