Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

Id Software’s first-person shooter Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is now available for $60 on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The game was already available for the PC and has received rave reviews and several awards. The Xbox 360 version has been developed by Nerve Software while Underground Development is behind the PS3 version of this action-packed title set in the Quake Universe.

Published by Activision, the game is set in the year 2065 and is the extension of the free multiplayer title Wolfenstien: Enemy Territory. In the game, there are two sides embroiled in battle, the Global Defense Force and the Strogg. The GDF is a human military outfit to serve the common end of defending our beloved planet from the evil alien intruder Strogg – the generic apocalyptic alien invasion. Each side is segregated into five classes each like soldiers, aggressors, technicians etc., however, the classes are unique to each side. The class division plays a significant role in the gameplay as the different classes have different attributes.

Players have to help their team achieve certain objectives and on successful completion of these objectives they gain experience points (XP), which in turn can be utilized for upgrading attributes and weaponry. Additionally, teams have to take turns at defense at attack. The game is priced $60.
