Rumor: Xbox 360 price drop scans look very convincing

Nothing has been officially confirmed yet – wait for this Sunday – but Kotaku has a leaked picture set in via a gamestop employee that details the Xbox 360′s upcoming price drop. The picture indicates that the Pro model will be knocked back to $299. The new price point is set to go into effect Sunday, July 13, 2008, literally the day before Microsoft’s big E3 press event.
Well, this is good news for anyone still on the fence, but many are speculating that this will be peanuts next to a much bigger announcement. And we do love speculation in this industry, don’t we?
