Silent Hill Homecoming finds a warm welcome at E3

Konami has unleashed a multitude of screen shots and information on the latest entry in the Silent Hill series, Silent Hill: Homecoming. It is the first game in the series to appear on next-gen consoles, and will be released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2008. Konami also confirmed that Akira Yamaoka will be providing the soundtrack for the new entry.
Silent Hill: Homecoming stars Alex Shepherd, a soldier who is returning to Shepherd’s Glen, his hometown, to find out what has happened to his brother and father. His search takes him into the town of Silent Hill, where he will face unusual monsters and people, all while discovering where his father and brother have gone.
The latest screenshots from the game really looks amazing. It all looks very realistic. The environments in Silent Hill have always been a drawing point in the game, and it looks like Silent Hill: Homecoming isn’t going to disappoint loyal fans.
