Marker Man screenshot MajescoMajesco’s been revealing lots of solid information on its forthcoming games, and Marker Man isn’t being left out. The DS game is a physics based, drawing, puzzle game for the Nintendo DS that is scheduled to be released in time for the 2008 winter holidays. Don’t let the simplistic title and story fool you, Marker Man sounds challenging.

Marker Man follows the adventures of, you guessed it, Marker Man. His pet, Doodle Dog, has disappeared. So now players have to help Marker Man manage his way through 150 puzzles to find his lost dog. This is accomplished by drawing geometric shapes on the touch screen to help Marker Man reach the end of each level.

I’m getting Drawn to Life deja vu from Marker Man here. I mean, now that all information about the game is revealed, we know that, aside from the drawing mechanic, the two games are completely different. Even the drawing mechanic is used differently. I still can’t help grouping the two games together though.

I do love the graph-paper like background in Marker Man. I think it add ambiance to the game.
