Tony Hawk DS Game Motion Control
I don’t know how exactly many Tony Hawk games there are right now but I’m guessing he’s just barely trailing Mario. I’m kidding, of course, but there is a rumor going around that the latest Tony Hawk game will have something that no other game has before.

Like all rumors, we have very little verifiable information. We do know that this latest game, Tony Hawk’s Motion, is going to be for the Nintendo DS and have some new sort of motion controlling technology.

Here is a quote from a posting on MaxConsole that is, so far, our only “confirmation:”

A new game has appeared at the Australia Ratings Classification board (OFLC) and it’s called Tony Hawk’s Motion which carries a G rating. Activision has previously said that this game will launch a with a new technology that has not been seen on the DS yet. So we’re speculating that such a technology could be a motion/titlt sensor…

That ending ellipsis is the big kicker here, as we’re all are wondering what kind of motion-controller they’re talking about. Will you need to insert it on the GBA slot, or is it some other kind of accessory?

Not only that, what is a Tony Hawk game doing with a motion-control capability? I guess we be moving the DS around to control someone on a skateboard, or something. Unfortunately, there is no rumor on the release date of this new Tony Hawk game. Like all rumors, we just have to wait and see.
