Fallout 3 available October 28, 2008

Get your radiation meds ready. Bethesda has announced the official release date for the hotly anticipated Fallout 3 – October 28, 2008. European gamers will be able to traverse the game’s barren, nuclear-scarred terrain on October 31st (just in time for Halloween!).
The game is set in a post-apocalyptic Washington DC. Players explore and fight across the wasted landscape in a super-detailed RPG/Shooter world, where they’ll encounter mutated beasties like Raiders, Super Mutants and Ghouls. The last game from Besthesda was the excellent The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, and the game has looked fantastic thus far, so we expect great things come October.
October is looking very busy for big releases this year, with Dead Space and Fable II also coming out. It’s going to be a lovely fall, as usual. Fallout 3 will be released for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
