Rock on with the Guitar Hero World Tour tracks

Activision has just announced the on-disc track listing for Guitar Hero World Tour for the PS2, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. 86 songs will initially be available, and each song will be a master recording. No need to worry about bad covers, come October 26, 2008. So rockers should be sure to save up $189.99 so you can purchase the game with the full band kit when it comes out.

Guitar Hero World Tour goes beyond the guitarists and focuses on the whole band, like Rock Band. There will be Band Career modes and “Battle of the Bands”, where two bands with four players each can face off to see who’s better. The game also comes with Music Studio, which lets players create their own songs and upload them to GHTunesSM.
