Dead Rising for Wii delayed

This is great news disguised by the usual wails of anger associated by the announcement of a big game’s delay. Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop is now delayed until February 2009. Destructoid has the scoop, along with a new trailer for the Wii version of the popular zombies-in-the-mall action game.

It’s a blessing in disguise, honestly. Everyone that’s reported on the game recently has been… underwhelmed by the game. A few more months of polish and tweaking could really do it some good. And anyway, there are enough big games coming out for the fall. Think of it this way – if Capcom perks the game up enough and makes it nearly as fun as the Xbox 360 original, it’ll be a wonderfully bloody little valentine to Wii gamers.
