Flower, Sun, and Rain coming to North America in 2009

That’s right Suda 51 fans, the DS remake of the Playstation 2 game that was previously only slated for Europe has now been confirmed by XSEED and Marvelous to be coming to North America sometime in 2009.

Flower, Sun, and Rain is known for taking the repeat-the-last-day time mechanic and adding Suda’s twisted storyline involving terrorists, a sunny resort, and of course, Lucha Libre-masked bad guys. Players will take on the role of detective Sumio Mondo as he tries to solve a bizarre mystery and stop terrorists from blowing up the resort – all before he goes insane.

Can’t wait to see what the mind of Suda 51 has in store for you? Well, as DS Fanboy points out, the Europe release date is November 19, 2008, so the North America release should be early 2009.
