Left Brain Right Brain 2 screenshotApparently, last year’s Left Brain Right Brain DS training game did pretty well. Majesco has just announced that it is planning to bring the sequel, Left Brain Right Brain 2, to the US in December, 2008. I think Majesco should step up and try to release it on December 4, 2008, since the original debuted on December 4, 2007. Currently, the release date is set for December 18, 2008.

Left Brain Right Brain 2‘s basic goal is the same as Left Brain Right Brain – to make players ambidextrous. You hold your DS like a book, and then perform mini-game challenges with each hand. The game then judges your accuracy, association, memory, recognition, speed and stragedy to determine how well you’re doing. It looks like the sequel has better graphics and a new line-up of tests.

I hope they made Left Brain Right Brain 2 more difficult. The original Left Brain Right Brain was incredibly easy. My cousin always gets educational games from a relative, so I was able to try the original out. It claimed I was already nearly ambidextrous. Let’s hope this version’s a bit more accurate.
