True Games to publish MMO Warrior Epic

True Games has just announced that it has permission to distribute Possibility Space’s Warrior Epic, a free-to-play MMORPG, around the world, and will do so throughout early 2009. Warrior Epic is going to provide traditional MMORPG adventuring action, but also appear to have a slight strategic edge as well.

The official press release mentions that those who play Warrior Epic will be able to control multiple characters and a Warrior Hall, as well as mentioning standard single player missions, multiplayer missions and player versus player battles. So it almost sounds like Warrior Epic will provide a bit of a management sim aspect, where you send out your warriors, to complement the standard MMORPG gameplay.

Closed beta and open beta periods have not yet been announced. An official website has been created though, with a short trailer, some concept art and an option to subscribe to an email newsletter and receive updates.
