The 2008 Toys R Us Big Toy Book has been released and this year and the sneak preview mailer is 80 pages of holiday gifty goodness.
There are a lot of video games spread throughout the Big Toy Book this year.
The most noteworthy deals include $10 gift cards with minimum purchase, $5 off Leapster and similar kids’ game systems, Star Wars DS System Value Pack and pink DS bundle for $159.97 each, free exclusive DS Littlest Pet Shop stylus, PSP Skype Headset for $29.99, a free tag team figure with WWE Smack Down vs. RAW game purchase, $100 Pyramat chair and two Toys R Us-exclusive DS games Pet Adoption Center ($29.99) and Soul Bubbles ($19.99). There are also some pretty decent iPod/iPod Touch offers including a $25 iTunes card and $10 gift card. Check way below for a list of more free-stuff-with-purchase type offers.
I highly suggest you check the web site and call stores before you make the trek since some systems, especially Wii stuff, are prone to selling out. Also, check the expiration dates. The catalog says that the sale prices are valid until November 22, 2008, but some of the deals will last longer.
You can also check out a scan of each page of the mailer mentioned below.
Big List of Toys R Us Game Deals
First, if you got the mailer, an insert includes a removable plastic card coupon for a free $10 gift card if you are a “Best Guest” (not sure exactly what that means – if every mailer does not include one, maybe you get it if you use a Toys R Us credit card). It is valid for in-store purchases only from October 26 through December 24, ,2008.
Even if you did not get that, the mailer insert there is a Free $10 Gift Card coupon. It’s also an in-store deal, good from October 26 through November 22, 2008, and you have to purchase a minimum of $75 worth of stuff.
On to the book. page 6 shows two kids bicycle games, the Laugh & Learn Smart Bounce & Spin Pony, which connects to the TV for little kids for $59.99 ($10 off retail) and, for older kids, the Smart Cycle TV game for $99.99 (also $10 off).

iPod's aren't the only digital player; what about the Creative Zen? Creative invented the iPod interface, which Apple stole. The Zen is better the iPod. Toys R Us does sale the Zen as I've seen it in their ad
They have some great deals on games and game consoles. And with the $10 off coupon it makes it even a better deal. Way cool.
