Games for Soldiers is a small, not-for-profit group started by Jesse Williams. The goal is to try and amass donations of video games, video game consoles, cards and travel games to give the soldiers something to do in their freetime while they are stationed overseas. The charity’s main focus is on video games. Games for Soldiers then sends these items to members of the Army, Airforce, Marines and Navy, primarily in Afghanistan, but also to other regions.
If you’d like your own retail copy of Bejeweled Twist, you’ll have to wait a few days. It won’t be in stores in the US until November 18, 2008. You can download a copy from PopCap Games‘ site though, if you don’t want to wait. Bejeweled Twist costs $19.95 through PopCap, and will cost $19.99 in stores.
