KB Toys opening at midnight on Black Friday

In what could be a very smart move, KB Toys has announced that over half of its stores open at midnight for Black Friday 2008. There are 460 KB Toys stores nationwide, and 270 of them will be open early for customers. KB Toys has also announced that its doorbuster deals will last from 12am midnight (or whenever your local store opens) until noon on Black Friday.

KB has also made it very easy to determine if your local store is going to be open at 12am. You stop by the KB Clubhouse and enter your zip code in the Visit a Store box in the bottom right corner of the page. Then, on the search results page, a big icon will appear next to each location’s address, telling you what time that store will be open on Black Friday (as shown above).

Unfortunately, you won’t find KB Toy’s 2008 Black Friday ad online anywhere. KB Toys has requested that all internet sites that had displayed the ad remove it. So you’ll have to wait until the Thanksgiving newspapers, filled with all those ad fliers, arrives to decide if it will be worth waiting outside your local KB Toys at midnight.
