Looks like an early Christmas present for lovers of game music – OverClocked ReMix – the game music community that actually provided the soundtrack to Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix – has just released the full album for free download. It’s all Capcom approved – and a fantastic gesture on the part of the company – especially since the game was released as a sort of love letter to fans.
The incredibly talented musicians at OC ReMix made history by collaborating with Capcom for their first official, commercial effort. If ever you doubted their legitimacy as artists (since they started as something of a fan community), now is the time to eat your words. Also – if you’ve never heard of the site, drop whatever you’re doing and go download some free tracks now. They have the most extensive and professional collection of re-arranged game tunes that you’ll find anywhere.
