Metal Gear on Xbox 360 tease

Holy smokes, Batman – 1Up is reporting on a very suggestive teaser on Konami’s Kojima Productions (the team that works with Hideo Kojima on the Metal Gear Solid titles), indicative of an Xbox 360 release of a Metal Gear game. We’re not quite sure if this is proof that the oft-rumored Xbox 360 port of Metal Gear Solid 4 (a PlayStation 3 exclusive) is really in the works – but this is seriously intriguing news.

Could it be? Could the ultimate PS3 exclusive actually be moving to the Xbox 360? After All, it was such a banner title for the system that an exclusive SKU was designed just for the game. Or is this some other version of Metal Gear, like an XBLA game or an entirely new project? We’re not sure yet – but stay posted for more information. This announcement was meant to tease – and tease it has.
